Ha! My Maan....That's what Denzel Washington would say, i love that phrase.
Jay-Z truly is my man. I'm a BIG fan of Jay and no im not his biggest fan, to any one that says that - its total B.S.; u think u know all his lyrics? Someone else knows his lyrics and movements, u think u know those two too? Someone else out there in this biG, BIG world, knows his lyrics, movements and can imitate his voice too. Its a losing battle...hehe
I had that proved to me at his concert in Dublin early this month, July 2008/or late last month i cant really remember. €72 i didnt really have but it was worth every last cent. Ok i was a lil' bit disappointed that the show didnt go on for 3 hours lol, but we'd all probably have to pay thru the nose for that kinda time with a mega-star.
Waited 5 hours in the rain, took the 9am 4-hour bus from Letterkenny, landed Dublin around 1pm[the show was for 6pm but i wanted to be right UPFRONT! :-) ], searched like crazy for the show venue, found it, was disappointed that i was 2nd in line :-(, these guys had been waiting in the rain long before i got there! Met some other cool Jay fans, the organisers took pity on us an gave us a Portakabin to shield us from the rain. We swapped stories/jokes/awe-stories about Jay & other greats until we got bored, some more waiting in the rain and finally...
